The Maintenance Mechanic Performs skilled trade work including the installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, service and repair of mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing and structural systems on the West Haven Campus of the University of New Haven. This includes general maintenance projects and event support for various athletic, student, and administrative activities.
You will:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities, including but not limited to walking, bending, standing, stooping, stretching, climbing stairs and ladders. Incumbent must be able to lift and or move equipment that may weigh up to 100 pounds.
This position is considered essential. Essential personnel are required to report to work even if the University suspends normal operations and classes and during inclement weather conditions.
