Utah Athletics, a Division I institution and BigXII Conference member, is seeking a Performance Science Coordinator in the Applied Health & Performance Science department. This position exists within the Applied Health & Performance Science Department and will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Applied Health & Performance Science. The purpose of this position is to provide support to varsity sports by assisting in the development and optimization of student-athlete performance, health, and wellness in accordance with the NCAA, BigXII, and University of Utah regulations.

Master’s degree in kinesiology, sports science, exercise physiology, biomechanics, statistics, physics, or related field and 1+ years of practical experience in a high-performance sport environment (NCAA Division 1, Olympic, professional sports organization)
Certified Builder and Admin for Teamworks AMS required by start of position
Demonstrated proficiency via portfolio of projects utilizing statistics, analytics, analytics software, programming languages, data visualization, etc.
CPSS Certification through the NSCA by start date
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
