| Job Summary/Basic Function |
About This Role:
The Manager of Athletics Business Development reports directly to the VP, Director of Athletics. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business and customer relationships that support the financial and operational goals of the athletics department. This position focuses on generating leads, establishing sales pipelines, securing partnerships and relationships that enhance revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sports industry, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record in business development. This position will work closely with other external initiatives including marketing, media relations and ticketing.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to the position summary and essential job functions OR an equivalent level of experience, in lieu of education, sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions.
- 3-5 years of experience working with business development, including generating leads, establishing sales pipelines, and securing partnerships and relationships that enhance revenue streams.
