Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 9 (Salary).

Position Description:

The Manager, Development (Director of Development) leads in the planning and execution of the Cardinal Athletic Funds Major Gifts initiative. They are responsible for CAF’s focus on soliciting and securing major gifts. This position supervises full-time Major Gifts staff and reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director of Development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secure major gift commitments of $50,000 or more while managing and stewarding a donor portfolio of 250+ individuals and businesses.

• Secure new commitments for Basketball and Football suites, Floor Seats, Premium Boxes and Club Seats.

• Oversee full-time CAF staff as assigned.

• Develop and assist in high level donor cultivation, stewardship, and special events.

• Manage or assist in other Cardinal Athletic Fund special projects.

• Other duties assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree in related field.

• Five (5) years of prior work experience in athletic fundraising or sales.

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including written and verbal.

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$110,400.00

Target Compensation Minimum:

$73,600.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
