Summary

Reporting to the Athletics Director, the Manager of Events, Facilities, and Equipment oversees contest administration for all home intercollegiate contests, works collaboratively with Facilities Management to ensure that all athletics facilities are properly maintained, and manages the inventory and distribution of athletics equipment.  The Manager for Events, Facilities, and Equipment is fully responsible for compliance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulations as well as Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) rules and all College policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of contest administration including contest personnel, ticket management, concessions management, and game-day promotions.
  • Coordinate communications between the athletic department and visiting teams and officials.
  • Oversee proper set up/tear down of equipment and facilities for all home athletic events.
  • Work proactively and collaborative with Facilities Management to ensure that all athletics facilities are properly maintained.
  • Maintain athletic equipment and uniform inventories.
  • Oversee laundry facility and laundering of practice and competition apparel.
  • Assign and rotate lockers for athletic teams, coaches, and staff.
  • Supervise and schedule equipment room staff, including part time and student employees.
  • Develop and manage the equipment budget. Follow college policy of receiving advanced approval for all purchases over $500, any hotel or flight in accordance with the Expense Authorization policy of the College.
  • Comply with all administrative staff on reports and forms that need to be completed.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
