Acts as the operations manager for department events and sports competitions. Share in the supervision and maintenance of facilities and events.
• Subject to evening, weekend and holiday work. May be subject to occasional travel.
• This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.

Faculty or Staff: 12 month
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in facility/event management.
• Organizational, administrative and computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database, preferably Microsoft Office and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of the fiscal/budgetary process of managing facilities and events.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others using strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the care and maintenance of outdoor athletic facilities, including natural grass and artificial turf fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in collegiate athletics or higher education.
• Experience in the care and maintenance of outdoor athletic facilities, including natural grass and artificial turf fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Photoshop.
Hybrid (works remotely at least 1 day per week but not full-time)
Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval. Employee eligibility depends on the likelihood of the employee succeeding in a remote work arrangement and the supervisor’s ability to manage remote workers. Departments and/or Human Resources may amend, alter, change, delete, or modify eligibility.
$35,000 - $40,000
All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
