Knowledge of applied marketing and game operations.
Ability to develop and implement marketing initiatives.

Ability to perform detailed work and meet required deadlines.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration given for a Masters degree.
Experience working in collegiate athletic marketing & promotions department.
Experience in graphic design with additional consideration for Adobe Creative Suite.
The Marketing & Promotions Assistant will be intricately involved in the development and implementation of various marketing and advertising plans for Texas State athletic teams and the department that incorporates ticket, retail, video and in-game promotions.
Position will assist with creation and production of collateral materials and advertising initiatives designed to produce a heightened awareness of athletic events and programs. Position will assist with sponsorship fulfillment, community relations; entertainment booking and more. This position will assist with game operation coordination for assigned sports, coordinate external non-athletic events (i.e. Bobcat Days), serve as the department’s direct liaison with student groups and on-campus offices, and other duties as required by the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement.
