The
Marshall Athletic Fund Director
for College Athletics Development is responsible for planning, executing, and managing a comprehensive annual giving program that supports the financial goals of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation. This position plays a key role in fostering relationships with alumni, fans, and community members to generate philanthropic support for Marshall Athletics. The Director will focus on increasing donor engagement, retention, and acquisition, while enhancing the overall visibility and impact of the Big Green.

Coordinate multi-channel fundraising campaigns (e.g., direct mail, email, social media, and phone outreach) to engage various donor segments.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create compelling fundraising materials and messages that align with the Big Green and Marshall Athletics brand.
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, focusing on alumni, parents, and friends of the Athletics program.
Work with Major Donor Relations position to develop and execute stewardship plans to recognize and thank donors, ensuring their continued support and engagement.
Track and analyze annual fund performance, donor behavior, and giving trends.
Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on campaign progress, donor retention, renewal/non-renewal statuses, and other key metrics.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of donor information, gifts, and pledges into the database.
Identify opportunities to enhance the annual fund program through new initiatives, such as crowdfunding, giving days, and digital engagement strategies.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in athletic fundraising and annual giving.
