Expired Date: Sep 04, 2024Under the immediate supervision of the Associate Athletic Director of Broadcast & Communications, the incumbent will support Athletic Department game day activities at Walter Pyramid and Blair Field related to the video production, content, editing and streaming for live athletic events. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain a focus on capturing most aspects of the live events, including pre-game activities, promotions, game action and the overall fan environment.
Under the immediate supervision of the Associate Athletic Director of Broadcast & Communications, the incumbent will support Athletic Department game day activities at Walter Pyramid and Blair Field related to the video production, content, editing and streaming for live athletic events. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain a focus on capturing most aspects of the live events, including pre-game activities, promotions, game action and the overall fan environment.
Working knowledge of full range of production techniques including sound recording, graphics, television, photography, videotaping, lighting, editing methods and equipment preferred. Ability to learn techniques in the development of television, film, radio or multimedia productions. Ability to use and maintain studio, camera and related equipment. Committed to following NCAA, Big West Conference, Mountain West Sports Federation (MPSF) and Golden Coast Conference rules and regulations. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in related field and six months of related professional or technical experience required.
Light work - Job involves some lifting of medium weight objects (10-20 pounds) and/or 10% - 20% of the job involves standing or walking.
Athletics
The salary range for this classification is $19.26 per hour.
Hourly/intermittent on call temporary position. Successful candidates may be appointed for a few days and up to one (1) year depending on the assignment. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
