Baker University seeks qualified applicants for a Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Graduate Assistant (GA) position.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting head coach with hurdles and/or javelin, coaching and assisting team practice, as well as providing individual instruction. The Track & Field GA will be available to communicate with potential student-athletes (PSAs) and assist in PSA visits to campus. The GA will also assist with team equipment inventory and ordering and will assist with team analytics and practice planning. They will also work with student-athletes and monitor adherence to rules and regulations concerning conduct, appearance, and behavior. Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Undergraduate degree required as well as acceptance and admittance into a Baker University graduate program. Collegiate track and field experience is required. Successful applicants must possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, a dedication to students, and an interest in pursuing a career in coaching. Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
