This position will assist conducting practices, motivating athletes, and instructing athletes in the
strategies and techniques used during Basketball games. Secondary duties will be assisting with
the workflow of all systems and processes involved with the campus employment of registered
students.
Essential Functions:
• Assist the Head Basketball Coach with the leadership and management of the basketball
program;
• Assist with the recruitment of players;
• Organize practices
• Game preparation
• Fund raising & public relations expectations, presenting a professional image of the
college;
• Coach and oversee supplemental games during the Basketball season;
• Assist with the workflow of all systems and processes involved with the campus
employment of registered students;
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is required; Master’s
preferred;
• A minimum of at least 1-2 years of coaching or previous plyaing experience;
• This position must promote a balanced lifestyle with student-athletes;
• Strong organization skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Preference will be given for NCAA Division III experience.
