Job Summary: 

The Men’s Basketball Director of Basketball Operations is responsible for assisting all aspects of the men’s basketball program.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for various aspects of the Men’s Basketball Program.

• Scheduling of opponents.

• Recruiting coordinator/on-campus recruiting coordinator.

• On-court skill sessions.

• Administrative duties and team-related matters.

• Travel and equipment.

• Coordinator of summer camps.

• Other duties as assigned by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach; and

• Any other duty or responsibility assigned by the supervisor.

Salary Range : $35,000 - $37,845

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Reports directly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach

• 50% instructs, teach and assist in the development of players during practices. 

• Follow and conform to NCAA rules and regulations.

• Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Commitment to community engagement, service, leadership development, or related work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships.

• Experience working directly with community-based organizations.

• Familiarity with service-learning, civic engagement, volunteer management, or leadership development programs.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

• Competitive coaching experience in men’s basketball at the high school or college level, preferred. Knowledge of MAAC and NCAA rules and regulations for compliance. Have the ability to work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, boosters, college administrators.

Licenses:

• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.

Working Conditions:

• All staff must adhere to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires the person to teach and demonstrate on the court for an extended period of time.
