Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the men's ice hockey program, including but not limited to:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Physical Education or related degree and/or equivalent professional experience is required; master's degree strongly preferred.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

• Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.

• Must possess or obtain a valid New York State drivers license

• Evidence of at least two years successful ice hockey coaching experience preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to recruit quality student-athletes.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills.

• Candidates must have an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, along with a philosophy compatible with a liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards.

• Candidate must be able to work successfully with a diverse group of individuals.

Compensation:

The expected hourly rate for this position is $24.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
