This position will serve as backup to Beach Vision for game day production broadcast.
Working knowledge of full range of production techniques including sound recording, graphics, television, photography, videotaping, lighting, editing methods and equipment. Strong video shooting and editing skills, good understanding of interviewing/scripting/storytelling, knowledge of content marketing and program marketing. Ability to learn techniques in the development of television, film, or multimedia productions. Ability to use and maintain studio, camera, and related equipment.

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and six months of related professional or technical experience required.
• CA Driver’s license preferred.
Employees who are required to operate motorized vehicles and/or use their personal vehicle more than once a month on university business are required to take a mandatory Defensive Driving course and enroll in the DMV Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program.

Media Production Specialist I
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,505 - $6,270 per month.
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
Excellent benefits through CalPERS (health, vision, dental), tuition fee waiver, generous vacation and sick leave, and 14 paid holidays each year.
Full-time temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
