Job Duties
The Associate Athletics Director is responsible for the oversight of all strategic operations, unit budget analysis, day-to-day operations, special projects and events, and internal and external strategic partnerships. The position will have direct oversight over administrative personnel, interns, work study and other assigned areas.
Duties include but not limited to the oversight and management of strategic operations, development of policies and procedures; oversight and analysis of unit budget; evaluation and analysis of athletics facilities; management of contracts, procurement of goods and services; operations liaison with internal and external departments; oversee special projects and events; oversee strategic partnerships; and sport oversight.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NSU, Commonwealth of Virginia, NCAA and MEAC rules, regulations and policies.

Minimum eight years’ experience in athletics administration; DI athletics program; Division I athletics program with football.
