The Sports Nutritionist will provide comprehensive nutrition support for student-athletes and teams at the University of Georgia. Employee will be responsible for Sports Nutrition education and counseling to individuals student-athletes and teams in addition to working with University Food Service and outside food vendors, nutritional supplement management, and body composition analyses. Qualified applicants will hold Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian (state of Georgia) credentials.
The Sports Nutritionist will report to the Director of Sports Nutrition. Effective oral and written communication skills. Experience creating computer and online educational tools is desired. The Sports Nutritionist will be expected to collaborate with a range of staff members throughout the University of Georgia Athletic Association.

Knowledge of nutrition principles as they relate to health and human performance and have experience working with high level athletes, preferably in a collegiate setting. Experience with body composition analysis and medical nutrition therapy case management.
