Description

The Sports Information Department is seeking qualified and creative Student Assistants for the 2023-24 school year. Sports Information Assistants will be responsible for helping the Sports Information Department with game operations and multimedia projects for GoBoxers.com and the Pacific University Athletics Department. Jobs include stat keeping as well as operating the scoreboard and video camera. Desired candidates should be familiar with necessary equipment and/or attend mandatory training sessions as required by the Sports Information Office and the NCAA.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Familiar with audio/visual equipment including cameras, mixers, tripods and microphones.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with social media.

Knowledge of NCAA LiveStats and PrestoStats is a plus.
