Position Purpose

This position provides administrative support to the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, executive leadership team, and 17 NCAA sports programs. This position also serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and other customers and patrons, while assisting with the coordination of student athlete insurance and medical billing.

Associate’s degree in business or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education are based on the following equivalencies : AA =2 years experience; BA/BS = 4 years experience; MA/MS = 6 years experience; PhD = 8 years experience

Word-Processing, Spreadsheet

Experience

Two (2) years secretarial, administrative assistant, insurance processor or related experience required.Experience working with insurance companies and/or healthcare providers preferred.Knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
