The Director of Football Operations oversees the complex, dynamic day-to-day operations of the Cornell University varsity football program. This position manages multiple competing responsibilities to ensure the priorities and strategic initiatives of the Head Coach are implemented. This position will plan and organize team travel, home game events, team banquets and functions, practice schedules and execution, recruiting processes and events, and matriculation and retention of student athletes. This position will also coordinate the planning and organizing of team travel and assist with all aspects of recruiting including processing recruiting paperwork. Under the direction of the Head Coach, this position also administers marketing and messaging to the alumni base and other interested parties and acts as liaison to several on-campus and external organizations. This position requires frequent evening and weekend work during certain times of the year.
