The Academic Center is located inside of Farrior Hall and the hours of operation are as follows:

Monday - Thursday 8am – 11pm, Friday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 4-10pm.
Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 9pm and Friday 8:00am – 3pm.
Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 10pm, Friday 8:00am – 3pm, Sunday 6-9pm.
Monitors are scheduled based on the flow of student traffic in the Academic Center. During all operating hours, two monitors will be assigned to the Academic Center desk to assist student-athletes with study hall check-in and assist tutors and mentors as needed. More monitors are assigned to evening shifts when the greatest numbers of students are using the facility. Monitors must work a minimum of 10 hours (or two shifts) per week and will be assigned a maximum of 25 hours a week.
Ideally, all positions are filled and the schedule is set two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer A, Summer B). To be considered for employment, applicants should submit their materials online at least a month prior to the term they would like to start working. Earlier applications are encouraged but there is a good chance that applicants will not be contacted until closer to the month out deadline.

This is a part-time position with no associated benefits.
Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date, but no offer of employment will be extended until after the position closes. Once an official offer is extended and accepted, the candidate will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 and may be contingent on satisfactory background screening results. The candidate will also be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States.
