Position Summary

Gettysburg College, in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a

Part-time Baseball Coach

for the 2024-2025 academic year. The College seeks candidates who have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues and community members. Gettysburg is an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences college, which enrolls approximately 2,300 primarily residential students. The College is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual who has a strong administrative, collaborative and student-focused background to serve in this position.

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Baseball Coach is to help with the day-to-day operations of a

NCAA

Division

III

baseball program, aiding in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes, providing personal and academic development on/off the field, and oversee and run the program’s social media accounts. The position will also have a focus based on the candidate’s background and expertise.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree, a background in hitting, and a desire to coach collegiately are preferred.
