Friends University is seeking to fill the Part-Time Assistant Coach Women’s Basketball position in Wichita Kansas. This position will assist the head basketball coach in all aspects of the basketball program to support the Christian mission and values of Friends University and the NAIA Champions of Character.

Two years of collegiate playing and/or coaching experience is preferred. Experience with recruiting and eligibility processes preferred but not required.

Bachelor’s degree is required. Masters preferred.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Must be able to multi-task and be a part of a fast-paced demanding environment. Ability to maintain confidential information, demonstrates strong time management and leadership development skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a team van. Must be able to work in a variety of weather and able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
