Job Description:

Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, located in Loudonville, NY, is seeking a part time Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach. The position is responsible for assisting with the operation of the swimming and diving program in areas relating to practice and competition preparation, meet management, recruitment of student- athletes, NCAA compliance, assisting with dry land workouts, and external relations as it relates to the sport.

Salary: $15.52 per hour/not to exceed 29 hours per week/10 months

Requirements:

A demonstrated ability to teach the techniques related to competitive swimming and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are recommended. Minimum of a bachelor's degree required and collegiate/USA swimming coaching and/or swimming experience preferred. Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.

A background screening will be required.
