Job Description

Essential Functions

• Broadcast Crew - ESPN+ productions of AU Athletics events
• Set up, operate, and break down production equipment for all American University Athletics video productions at Jacobs Athletic Complex, Reeves Athletic Complex, and Bender Arena.

Required performance in various production positions:

Camera Operation. Replay Operation. Character Graphics Operation. Associate Director. Audio Operation. Production Assistance. Statistician.

Supervisory Responsibility

• Crew call 2-3 hours prior to the start of an event.
• There are between 70-90 events each year that are broadcast on ESPN+ by AU Athletics. Crew members are asked to be available frequently, but hours may vary based on need and skill-sets of employee.

Work Environment

• Must be available for evenings and weekends.
• Must have the ability to lift and push equipment across campus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Part-Time.
• Non-Exempt.

Salary Range

• Commensurate with experience.
