Purpose: This position is to support the Head Cheer/Stunt Coach in all manners involving the
daily operation of the cheer/stunt program at Oklahoma Baptist University. This includes but is
not limited to the following: recruiting, administrative duties, practice planning/coaching and
competition coaching.

Essential Functions:

 Recruit cheer/stunt student-athletes.
 Plan, perform and assist student-athlete cheerleaders in cheer/stunt skills.
 Has history of coaching cheer and stunt at a competitive level.
 Perform administrative duties associated with a competitive cheer and stunt program.

Other Duties:

 Able to drive a 15-passenger van.

Required Qualifications:

 Ability to teach proper techniques to ensure safety.

Education:

 Required: Bachelor’s degree.
 Preferred: Master’s degree.

Experience:

 Preferred: Minimum of five years coaching competitive cheer/stunt.
 Required: Competed in cheer/stunt at the collegiate level.
