Summary:
The Golf House Attendant ensures the smooth operation of our golf course facilities, providing exceptional service to guests.
Essential Departmental Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional customer service to all guests visiting the golf course facilities.
Assists guests with inquiries, tee time bookings, and equipment rentals.
Maintains a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Processes customer payments accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
Handles cash transactions, credit/debit card payments and reconciles transactions at the end of each shift.
Ensures adherence to established accounting procedures and reports any discrepancies to management promptly.
Opens and closes the golf facility according to operating hours and procedures.
Manages golf cart distribution, ensuring availability and proper maintenance of carts.
Collects and organizes range balls, ensuring the driving range is well-stocked and tidy.
Conducts routine inspections of golf carts, ensuring they are clean, charged, and in good working condition.
Reports any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.
Communicates effectively with other staff members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operation of the facility.
Collaborates with management to implement improvements in service quality and efficiency.
Assists with inventory management, replenishing supplies as needed.
Promotes golf course services and amenities to guests, encouraging participation in additional activities or events.
Provides information about upcoming events, tournaments, and special promotions to guests.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or golf facility operations preferred.

Work Environment:
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regularly travels in outside weather conditions, is exposed to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, and is occasionally exposed to fumes, smoke, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Noise levels in the work environment can vary from moderate to loud.
Physical Demands:
