Thomas College seeks candidates for the position of Head Coach for the club golf program. This part-time position will be responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the golf program including coaching, scheduling, conditioning, contest preparation, practice planning, budget preparation, fundraising, purchase/care of equipment, planning/supervision of team travel and monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes.
The successful candidate must have previous coaching or playing experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience recruiting student-athletes at the NCAA Division III level. A basic familiarity with athletics in New England at the high school and/or collegiate level is preferable. Candidates must have the ability to pass motor vehicle and criminal background checks and are required to successfully complete a van/mini-bus familiarization course. Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
