Job Description:
Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), is seeking applications for a Head Women's Golf Coach. This is a part time position and will be responsible for the daily management and administration of all phases of the Division I golfprogram in accordance with all NCAA, MAAC, and College regulations.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to planning and conducting practice; evaluation and recruitment of qualified student athletes; individual players skill development and team performance development; monitoring academic progress; coordinating services to the team with other department support areas; scheduling games and management of the program's budget. The head coach will be expected to work cooperatively and closely with student services such as sports medicine, strength and conditioning, and academic advising. Knowledge and adherence to NCAA, MAAC, and College rules and regulations is required.
Salary: $1,125.00 per week, part time 29 weeks - $32,630.00(rounded) annually

Requirements:
Qualifications include a minimum bachelor's degree required. Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment. Excellent knowledge of the techniques of the sport and excellent communication skills desired. College coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
A background screening will be required.
