Description
The assistant coach will be responsible for many administrative and on-court responsibilities related to the womenâs basketball program. Â Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing and implementing the activities associated with running an basketball program.
  Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in clearly understanding the operational plan for the basketball team
Participate in meetings with the coaching staff, athletic trainers, and University staff to ensure coherent communication throughout the organization
Assist with recruitment activities for student athletesÂ
Help with practice planning and implementation, as well as attend practices to help with on-court sessions and coaching
Work with department administrators in respective areas to ensure the basketball student-athletes are meeting their responsibilities
Facilitate the code of conduct for student-athletes
Travel with team
Assist with film breakdown
Assist in all efforts to promote the academic success of student-athletes
Submit worked hours in payroll system of record weekly and on time.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must clear background check
Basketball playing/coaching experience
Must have or obtain a bachelorâs degree
Must be able to drive fleet vehicles.Â
