The Team Performance Dietitian will serve as an integral member of the Department's inter-disciplinary health care team and will work directly with Student-Athlete Health and Welfare personnel, coaches, Athletic Counseling and mental health personnel, and other exercise science and allied health personnel to deliver high-level comprehensive, practical, and evidence-based performance nutrition, healthcare, and lifetime wellness services for University of Michigan student-athletes. The Team Performance Dietitian will have a wide range of clinical and administrative daily responsibilities to include individual and group/team nutrition counseling and education; documentation and analysis of performance nutrition outcomes and metrics; rest, recovery, and regeneration, and injury risk stratification program development and implementation; testing and evaluation; data entry, interpretation, and report generation; daily interaction, communication, and relationship building with Student-Athlete Health and Welfare personnel, coaching personnel, exercise science personnel, athletic administration, and other members of the campus community; assisting with various administrative duties; and performing other duties as assigned.
