Athletic Student Therapy Center
Assist the Director of Sports Medicine in a
NCAA
Division I collegiate, coeducational program. Specific duties include; supervising all rehab and treatment of injuries sustained by student-athletes whom have direct or indirect referrals for physical therapy by physicians, follow physician protocols, and assist with physical examinations. Provide athletic training coverage as needed directed by the Director of Sports Medicine. Including travel with assigned athletic team(s), assist with administrative duties as directed, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Must be able to assist with physical examinations. Provide athletic training coverage as needed with athletics teams and assist with administrative duties as directed.
Bachelor’s degree.
NATA
Board of Certification “national” certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainer’s “state” License or eligibility for license is required. Current state of Tennessee license (Both PT/
ATC
) or eligible for licensure
CPR
/First Aid certification. Experience working with athletes is preferred, no years of experience required, entry level welcome to apply.
B.S., M.S. or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program. TN Physical Therapist license required. Graduate from a
CAPTE
accredited Physical Therapy Program. Experience with athletes is preferred (D1, professional, etc.). Appropriate knowledge base of physical therapy with the willingness to learn about or collaborate in a sports setting.
