The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Athletics Marketing & Communication department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Oversees, coordinates, and manages all marketing, game presentation, fan experience, advertising, and promotional efforts for Rutgers Athletics for assigned sports including football.
Assists with other duties as assigned including but not limited to: increasing attendance and enhancements for event atmosphere and experiences.
Leads videoboard presentation, selection of music and campus/community athletics-marketing relations.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sports administration, marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

| Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver’s license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
|
| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- One to two years of experience working in sports marketing/event management field.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or other graphics.
|
| Equipment Utilized |
- Microsoft Office tools.
|
| Physical Demands and Work Environment |
- Lifting of boxes at times.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
|

- Clean Driving Record.
