Description

Friends University is seeking to fill the Part-Time Head Coach Women’s Golf position in Wichita Kansas. The Head Coach Women’s Golf will administer the women’s intercollegiate golf program. This position develops and directs the recruiting strategy, player development, retaining and coaching of student athletes in the program

Qualifications

Must have two years of similar or related coaching experience. Experience with youth and/or young adults in mentoring, teaching or coaching is preferred. Strong knowledge of golf instruction, golf technology, rules and tournament preparation.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to motivate or positively influence others is a material part of the position. Skilled in diplomacy and trust. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is required.
