The Recruiting Analyst will work with the Director of Recruiting to determine and recommend all aspects of the Division I Football program at Utah State University.
The individual will be responsible for operational and analytical assessment for run defense, including film breakdown and analytics. Individual must be familiar with
Division I football operations, requirements and achievements. The position will demonstrate an understanding and commitment to athletics programs at NCAA Division I
level, have a commitment to academic mission of Utah State University, a commitment to the academic success of the student-athletes, work well with students, facility,
staff and community.
Strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulationsregarding compliance issues. Violation of conference or NCAA regulation, as well as those
policies of theUniversity, could create negative publicity and jeopardize the University in conference or NCAA standings.Violations by employees will be documented and
handledon an individual basis and can be cause for dismissal.
Analyst: Responsibilities include all PSA film evaluations. Meet with the Director of recruiting, and staff to create a plan of recruitment. Serve as a consultant on player personnel evaluations pertaining to student-athlete recruiting.
Recruiting: Search for new top prospects, recruiting databases, recruiting travel.
Administrative: Additional duties as assigned. Attendance of NCAA compliance meetings, equipment. Other duties as assigned.

The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. This position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
