What We're Looking For
The Senior Associate Athletic Director for Brand Engagement will provide oversight and leadership for the areas of S trategic Marketing and Fan Engagement, Athletic Communications, Creative Services , and BaylorVision with an emphasis on fostering fresh perspective, innovative ideas, and strategic vision. This position will develop and execute strategies to ensure collaboration and coordination among units to effectively drive revenue growth, distinctive storytelling, brand consistency, strengthened brand presence, and an enhanced fan experience. The Senior Associate AD for Brand Engagement will play a crucial role in strengthening the connection between Baylor Athletics and its diverse audiences.Â
A Bachelors degree and five years of relevant work experience are required. A Masters degree and eight years of experience are preferred. A commination of experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

What You Will Do
Marketing & Fan EngagementÂ
Lead the strategic development and execution of fan engagement initiatives to drive attendance and enhance the in-game experience at all Baylor Athletics events.Â
Develop departmental marketing campaigns that align with Athletics goals and strengthen the Baylor brand.Â
Oversee the production of in-game entertainment, fan activations and promotional events.Â
Guide social media strategy and content development for Baylor Athletics and team social media accounts.Â
Collaborate with the Associate AD for Marketing & Fan Engagement to ensure marketing strategies and activities align with strategic brand goals. Â
Communications and Public RelationsÂ
Provide strategic oversight for Athletics Communications, ensuring consistent media coverage and fostering positive relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets.Â
Lead major public relations efforts and guide strategy for significant stories to promote and expand Baylor’s media presence. Â
Work with Associate AD for Communications to ensure alignment between Athletics Communications and Baylor University media relations team to maintain cohesive messaging and enhance the reach of Baylor Athletics. Â
Creative Services & Baylor VisionÂ
Contribute to the strategic vision for content creation, including video production, graphic design, photography, and digital media.Â
Oversee the operations of BaylorVision, including game-day broadcast teams, to ensure high-quality video production, creative content development, and best-in-class game broadcasts.Â
Assist Creative and Branding teams in their work with content partner, Sport & Story, to enhance and grow the Baylor+ Platform and subscribers. Â
Collaborate with Associate AD for Branding & Creative Services to ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials.Â
OtherÂ
Other duties as assigned by the Deputy AD/CRO.Â
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.Â
Ability to comply with University policies.Â
Maintain regular and punctual attendanceÂ
Collaboration & Leadership:Â
Cultivate a strong team culture within area of oversight and consistent collaboration with other areas of Athletics and the University.Â
Contribute to talent acquisition and retention across areas of oversight. Â
Serve as a key member of the External Affairs leadership team, working closely and collaboratively with colleagues. Ensure key information and opportunities are shared with staff working within areas of oversight.Â
Regularly report to the Deputy AD, Executive Leadership Team, and the Athletic Director to align marketing, fan engagement, and communications strategies with departmental goals.Â
Partner with University Marketing & Communications leadership to integrate Baylor Athletics into university-wide branding and communications initiatives.Â
