The Senior Associate Athletic Director's primary purpose is to plan, coordinate, and implement the development operations within VCU Athletics in order to increase and secure donor participation. Reporting directly to the Vice President & Director of Athletics, the Senior Associate Athletic Director serves on the Athletic Director's Cabinet and works to further VCU Athletics' overall mission and strategic goals.
Minimum hiring standards include:
-Bachelor's Degree;
-Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU:
-Prior experience with annual fund campaigns;
-Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
-An ability to interact comfortably in business and social settings with major donors, prospects, community leaders and university officials;
-The ability to handle many responsibilities simultaneously; and
