Grambling State University, located in North Louisiana, is seeking an experienced Associate Athletic Director for Fiscal Operations to lead the fiscal operations for its NCAA Division I Athletics Department, which competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). Oversees the daily financial operations for the Grambling State Athletics and maintains key and constant communication with the university’s central financial office to ensure alignment with institutional financial goals, including monthly financial reporting, the annual audit, and the development of financial policies and procedures.
Lead in the development, planning, and implementation of the overall athletics department budget including multi-year financial planning and capital project budgeting.
Responsible for monitoring and accurately projecting most revenue categories and operating expenses for teams and administrative units, based on input from other departments.
Serve as the chief contact with both the university's central financial administration and the Grambling University Foundation, ensuring coordination in oversight of daily financial activity and fund monitoring.
Responsible for the preparation of financial audits and reporting for the athletics department including but not limited to the NCAA Financial Report, associated audit, and the Equity in Athletic Disclosure Act (EADA) financial report.
Responsible for contract research and negotiations for the athletic department vendor contracts.
Assist the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics with communication with the university’s financial leadership and the Grambling University Foundation Board.

Supervises athletic finance office staff members.

Other special projects and duties as assigned by the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics
Minimum:
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Preferred:
Master’s Degree
Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics.
