Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
The department is especially interested in candidates with a Master’s Degree in a relevant field and experience in Division I
FBS
institutions.
Screening for the position will begin immediately
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Will occasionally require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, some holidays, and travel.

This position supervises the Athletic Marketing, Game Day Presentation staff, Integrated Communications staff, Digital Media staff, Name, Image and Likeness Coordinator(s), and Social Media Manager(s).

Develop and lead a strategic public relations plan for the Athletics Department including oversight of all digital media, social media, video services, and new media initiatives, as well as including advertising trade agreements.
Oversee development of athletics website.
Oversight of Integrated Communications staff (Communications, marketing, Branding) and Creative Content staff (Social & Digital Media) |

Provide senior-level management support in planning, negotiating, developing, and/or implementing unit or department programs and services.
Work directly with the Director of Athletics to coordinate all strategic plans/initiatives, capital projects, fiscal policy & projections, and fundraising efforts.
Provide operational support to Director of Athletics and senior staff with a focus on solving problems and increasing efficiency and effectiveness. |

Regularly attend athletics events to assist as directed.
