Limestone University, a Division II member, and a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) member invites applications for the full-time, 12-month positions as Senior Athletic Trainer.
Job Overview- These successful candidates will assist with the coverage, and supervision of 25 men’s and women’s sports. The positions will include but not be limited to the following: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, as well as short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Candidates will help with Education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration, in consultation with, and under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician, and other qualified medical personnel. Some travel will be required, and administrative duties will be assigned as needed. This position will also serve on the leadership team of the Athletic Training Department, and will help mentor and supervise the Assistant Athletic Trainers
Requirements- This candidate must be recognized by the BOC as a Certified Athletic Trainer and be eligible for South Carolina State Certification. They must have a commitment to, and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Limestone University, the SAC, and the NCAA. The selected candidate must be willing to consent to, and pass with satisfactory results, an investigative consumer report.
