Required Application Materials:
This position will report to the Associate Athletic director for fan engagement and digital strategy and lead creative video production for UTEP Athletics.
Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with UTEP Athletics teams and programs to tell the story of our student-athletes through narratives, features and in-depth video content.
Participate in weekly content development meetings with Marketing and Strategic Communications departments.
Remain current with emerging trends in video production with the intent to apply them to UTEP Athletics video production projects.
Work with the Digital strategies department to develop new strategies/ideas to put UTEP Athletics on the forefront of college athletics video production.
Produce TV commercials in partnership with the UTEP Athletics Marketing department.
Assist in the UTEP podcast production.
Organize and lead the creative video department in capturing content for all UTEP Athletics sports.
Assist in training/supervision of student workers.
Maintains thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, Mountain West conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist with other duties/projects as assigned/directed.
Acts independently or as part of a production team.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and occasionally travel for work.
Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's objectives, policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
and
Experience: Three years’ experience in a video production within collegiate or professional athletics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lighting and audio setups.
Experience shooting both interviews and live action with Sony Cinematic and Mirrorless Cameras (a7IV, FX6, and FX3 specifically).
Strong knowledge of editing and story telling fundamentals.
