The Westminster Men’s Lacrosse team is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our team and elevate our online presence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and enhancing the program’s social media presence and showcasing the team’s achievements, culture, and behind-the-scenes moments. As the Social Media Manager Intern, you will play a pivotal role in engaging our fan base, promoting our team, and contributing to the overall success of the program.
Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. Avid self-learner with a passion for the digital marketing industry and social media specifically. Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their best practices, and audience engagement techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt your tone and style to different platforms and audiences. Proficiency in content creation tools and software, including photo editing applications. Basic knowledge of analytics tools to track social media performance is a plus. Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling. Availability to attend practices, games, and team events to capture content.
