Position Overview: The Softball assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in leading a successful program at Manchester University. This will include assisting in managing all aspects of coaching, eligibility, recruitment, retention, budget and scheduling. The assistant coach is also responsible for assisting the head coach in fundraising for and Game Day management assignments.
Essential job functions:
Monitors student-athletes’ eligibility during season.
Works with the Student Success Center to coordinate support for student-athletes.
Trackretention rates
Benchmark internally, within the University, and
Externally, with other NCAA Division III schools.
Report onretentionprogress.

Work schedule: This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. This is a twelve (12) month position. Travel is required and includes flexible work hours, especially in-season. M-F with weekends required.
