Job Summary
Primary responsibility is serve as our hitting coach, which includes the recruitment and development of our hitters as well as scouting and game planning for the offense. Other responsibilities are to assist the Head Coach in all aspects of Division I program including, but not limited to, teaching student athletes how to perform softball, coordinating team travel arrangements, game day personnel management, some recruiting and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Administration. This position will also assist the Head Coach in organization, administration, and promotion of the program. Approximately 60% of the Assistant Coach’s responsibility is dedicated to the instruction of softball through on-field (or on-court) training and classroom training through use of video and other teaching techniques. Approximately 40% of the Assistant Coach’s responsibility is recruiting and other administrative duties. Candidates must be committed to the academic and athletic success of the student-athletes
