Iowa State University has an opening for a Sports Dietitian I position in Athletics. Seeking candidates with a passion to elevate student athlete performance through cutting edge nutrition strategies, hands on education, and a passion for helping competitors from a variety of sports thrive. Initial sport assignment will be assisting across multiple Olympic and Football programs.
What you’ll do
The successful candidate must have knowledge base of sport nutrition curriculum; possess strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and help write effective educational materials and presentations; be highly organized; and maintain confidentiality. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Requires the ability to work outside normal business hours with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and overnight travel with the team. This is an in-person/on-sight position.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
