Coordinate with Cheer coach, Band and Student Activities for game day activities.
Oversee the gameday management of multiple athletic facilities.
Act as the game/event manager for all home contests and any outside, special, or contracted events.
Coordinate with other members of the athletic department, campus community, and local agencies that may be involved with a game or event, including assisting with sponsorship sales.
Assist with booking special and contracted events that take place in OPSU athletic facilities.
Order all food and drink items in concession stands for team stocking.
Oversee conduct in competition as regulated by the NAIA.
Complete game-day responsibility checklists and distribute to appropriate parties.
Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year for practice, games and recruiting.
Be able to transport team to the contests, and be responsible for their well-being.
Could be exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
Other duties as assigned by the assistant director or his/her designee.
Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required.
Knowledge of athletic contests
Sponsorship and/or advertising sales experience.
