Description
This position serves as the assistant sports information director with a focus on game day operations. Duties include managing/scheduling game day student/outsourced workers, recording NAIA official stats, assisting the SID in game day responsibilities including the set-up of facilities, managing game day student workers, and other post-game responsibilities.
Examples of Duties
The Sports Information Assistant will assist the Sports Information Coordinator in the managing of all New College of Florida home sporting events for the 2024/25 school year. This includes scheduling game day student workers for various roles including scoreboard operation, recording official NAIA stats, and other game day needs.
The Sports Information Assistant will assist the SIC in the communication of all schedules for New College athletic teams. This includes assisting in the tracking of all schedule updates and changes, weekly communication with NCF athletic department staff on upcoming events and important updates, and other communication as necessary.
The Sports Information Assistant will be in charge of recording/managing stat files for NCF home athletic events for each program. This includes taking official stats at home events, uploading and sharing stat files with other institutions through pressostats, and helping the SIC in managing the cumulative stat pages on the athletics website.

A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of appropriate experience, including experience with athletic game day operations

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Presostat, and other stat taking programs, experience with Sidearm Sports, experience in game day operations in an athletic department.
