Job Description
Sports Medicine Assistants (SMA's) are Macalester work study students that work in the Athletic Training Room with staff Athletic Trainers to care for Macalester Varsity Student Athletes. SMA's will be trained in CPR/First AID/AED, taping, modaility use, and other training room duties.
Job Requirements
Students must have work study. Some work shifts require night and weekend hours. New SMA's will need to be available on Tuesday's and Thursday's 1130am-1pm for the first 6 weeks of school for training.

Sick and Safe Time
Student employees accrue sick and safe time at an accrual rate of one hour for every 30 hours paid.
Sick and safe time is not paid out upon departure.
