Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Sports Nutrition Operations Assistant for the Athletics Department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assists with the daily operations of the fueling stations located at the
APC
,
RAC
,
CAG
and
RASC
.
Assists with the daily operations of satellite fueling stations .
Assists with overseeing a team of student-workers that will assist in meeting operation needs.
Creates team education materials through various media (flyers, presentations, social media, etc.).

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.

- Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver’s license would be required for this position.

- Knowledge of food service quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
- Computer literacy, including working knowledge of word processing programs, presentation software, and nutrition analysis programs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, handling sensitive matters involving student-athletes.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
