Summary:
The Athletics Department at Rollins College is seeking Sports Psychologist a to join their team! Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Athletics, the Sports Psychologist will provide a full range of culturally sensitive clinical and non-clinical services for Division II student-athletes at Rollins College.
This full-time, 12-month position will include assessment/evaluation, short-term individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and psycho-educational workshops to increase the mental health awareness of student athletes. In addition to direct clinical services, the sports psychologist will provide applied sports psychology services related to enhancing athletic performance. This will involve collaboration and consultation with coaches, athletic training staff, sports medicine staff and athletic administrators. The successful candidate is involved with the Athletics Department culture by supporting student athletes and coaches through practices, games and events. Emphasis will be on ameliorating mental health conditions and related issues typically experienced by student-athletes engaged in competitive intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II level.

Work Environment:
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours associated with intercollegiate athletics, including evenings and weekends during the sports season.
This position is designated as one that performs an essential function. This means that the position's incumbent may be required to report to work if the campus suspends operations because of severe weather, natural disaster, or other emergency condition.
