Position Description
| Advertised Job Summary |
Responsible for the overall operation of the strength and conditioning program, which includes the oversight, implementation, and development of performance programming for student-athletes in accordance with USCB, the Peach Belt Conference, and NCAA Division II regulations.
Instructs and works with athletes to prepare them for competition. Help athletes to play their best individually or as a team in sports. Provide expertise on the rules, strategies, and techniques of their sports.
Common Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Extensive and technical knowledge of the sport. Ability to communicate effectively with recruits, students, parents, staff and members of the fan base and community.

| Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience |
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience in collegiate strength & conditioning training, personal training, or strength and fitness instruction at any level. Must possess and maintain Certification by CSCCa-SCCC, or higher-level certification. Must possess and maintain current CPR certification.

| Preferred Qualifications |
Master’s degree with 5 years’ successful collegiate strength and conditioning training/coaching or sports performance coaching experience. Possess and maintain Level 1 certification or higher by the United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) and/or NSCA-CSCS

Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, coaches, student-athletes, sports medicine staff and other university staff; Proven success in a areas of strength and conditioning programming; Comply with NCAA D2 regulations, conference rules and University policies.

Develop and implement sport-specific strength and conditioning programs. Attention to sport-specific Strength and Conditioning programming that entails the development of muscular strength, explosive power and speed, multi-directional agility, and conditioning for all sports.
